Your guide to turning on your Fitbit

So, you’ve just got your brand new Fitbit and you’re eager to get started tracking your fitness. But there’s just one problem: you can’t seem to figure out how to turn the darn thing on!

Never fear, we’re here to help. In this article, we’ll walk you through the process of turning on your Fitbit, as well as how to properly charge it. To turn on your Fitbit, start by plugging the charging cable into the port on the back of the tracker. Then, insert the other end of the cable into a USB port on your computer or a UL-certified USB wall charger.

How do i turn my fitbit on

Once the charging cable is plugged in, you should see a battery icon appear on your Fitbit’s screen. At this point, press and hold the button on your tracker for about three seconds. You should see the Fitbit logo appear on the screen, followed by the main menu. Once you see the main menu, your Fitbit is turned on and ready to use!

If your Fitbit isn’t turning on, it’s possible that the battery is completely drained. In this case, you’ll need to charge your tracker for at least 20 minutes before it will turn on. To check if your Fitbit is charging properly, look for a battery icon with a lightning bolt next to it on the screen.

How to turn on your Fitbit

If you’ve got a Fitbit, then congratulations! You’re in good company. A recent study showed that nearly 60 percent of US adults now use some type of wearable technology device. Whether you’re a new user just trying to figure out how to turn on your Fitbit or an experienced pro looking for ways to improve your fitness tracking, these tips will help you get the most out of your device.

If you’ve just purchased a Fitbit and are having trouble turning it on, don’t worry – you’re not alone. The process can be a little confusing, but we’re here to help. In this post, we’ll show you how to turn on your Fitbit and get started with tracking your fitness progress.

How to change the time and date on your Fitbit

One of the first things you’ll need to do after setting up your Fitbit is to change the time and date. This can be done by pressing and holding the button on your tracker for two seconds. You should see a menu appear on the screen with the option to change the time and date. Select this option and use the arrows to scroll through the options until you’ve set the correct time and date. Once you’re finished, press the button again to save your changes and return to the main menu.

It’s important to keep your Fitbit’s time and date accurate, as this information is used to track your fitness progress. If the time and date are incorrect, your Fitbit may not be able to accurately track your steps, distance, calories burned, and other data.

How to adjust the settings on your Fitbit

Once you’ve got your Fitbit turned on and the time and date set, you can start adjusting the settings to customize your experience. To do this, simply press the button on your tracker and scroll through the menu options until you find the Settings option. Select this option and use the arrows to scroll through the different sub-options.

There are a variety of settings that you can adjust on your Fitbit, including the units of measurement (kilometers or miles), the language, and the time zone. You can also set up your Fitbit to vibrate when you receive calls and texts, and to display notifications from your mobile device on the tracker’s screen.
