Define your needs
This is the first step to buying the right machine; you might simply want to work while on the train or plane, or the notebook will be the tool to launch a small business. The average person uses the Ms. Office suite, dabbles with Photoshop, and likes to check their email and see what’s going on in the world, in which case, you need not look at high-spec machines.
A core i5 or i7 processor would be what you need, and with 16Gb of RAM, the notebook can multitask with ease. If you are a graphic designer, you want something high-end; Intel’s core i9 chip or the AMD equivalent, which you can find online.

Look for specials
Computer suppliers end up with a lot of stock, and sometimes they need the space and are prepared to slash prices on specific items. Spending an hour searching online could save you a few thousand baht, and any saving has to be welcome. Some suppliers will throw in an extra 8Gb of RAM, or they might offer a free external drive or power bank when you order certain models. Mouse or mousepad
Some people prefer the mouse pad, which is built into the computer, while others prefer to plug in a USB mouse; the choice is yours; be advised that your new notebook comes with only the mousepad, so you need to buy a wireless mouse if that’s your preference. You can go into settings-pointing devices and disable the mousepad if you prefer.
Comparing prices
Once you have made up your mind and chosen a make and model, use Google to search for the lowest price. The product is in a sealed box; if the seal is broken, you should not accept the product, and when you shop online, you have the same consumer rights as if you purchased in a traditional retail store.
Product Warranty
Of course, your new notebook comes with a product warranty, and one thing you should never do is take off the back panel. There are seals in place, and should you break these, the manufacturer will not be liable for any malfunction. If you ever need to have the notebook repaired, always use an approved dealer.
